Evil, you say?
Not evil....we just enjoy good drama....we're like TNT (the cable network), only in color, and without celebrities waxing philosophic.

With all my chirping over this Ep a couple of my friends would like nothing better than to stuff a gag in my mouth, permanantly. When I read this Ep, I was positively ready to pee my pants in some parts (that mixed with the fact I'd just finished lunch, probably needed to go to the bathroom, but couldn't because I was glued to my chair and attached to the screen). I totally loved Normal and Sketchy in this. Fav lines, "fire truck..." "Oh, for the love of Mike" and "Jesus, take me now". I can't stop the stupid grin ;D Original Cindy was outstanding. The dialogue between Max, Logan and her interaction with the X-series. Very impressive. I've always found her the most challenging to get right. You guys got her flava, perfect The humor, action, drama and suspense of this Ep, are what grabbed me the most. It'd have to be my favorite, because of the characters involved, the way they are portrayed, the settings and believe it or not, the cliff-hanger. call me insane, cause it won't bother me, you won't be the first I must admit that the introduction of more than a dozen new characters in the space of one Ep thoroughly confused me at first, but now I wouldn't trade a single one. Nice to be able to put an image to a name too. (cast page). Might be an idea to put more up too (Tia, Kara, Trice... there were others too, can't remember them right now). I loved the background into Aveta too. Seeing the last moments in Manticore from another painful and real perspective. A huge sense of loss, something Max can very much identify with. The loss of sisters. Wonderful job Lelu, Queen Qwen and Star24. You'll probably see more comments from me in discussions with other readers. I hope you guys don't get sick of me

OMG! It was great! But a cliffhanger! <pouts> This was a great ep. Love the OC and Sketch action and help from Normal. The flashbacks were good, haven't seen those in a while. The cliffhanger's good, but evil. Tuesday's such a long way away! Great job guys! keep it up! What happened to the mood music notes?

Awesome Ep!! I loved the cliffhanger! Normal was too cool, I loved him running the 'underground railroad' and the past about the 'genetically enhanced americans' (I think that's how he put it) was too good! You guys are awesome!

On e-mail from katerpillar: hahahah!!! If I didn't know better i'd totally be worried about logan...but hey, he can't die! but i'm more worried about the people in the room with the steel door, that had me engrossed...it was great....i was off and on attention span wise act 1, 2, and 3, and then four i was on it....it was great. kudos to the beta's and authors. and my favorite line...when normal called and max asked what he wanted and logan said "his secret decoder freak nation ring?" LOL...i thought it was hilarious....hehehe ...so we find out next episode he doesn't die? He better not. ;D good stuff. ~*~ Rock's review of Ep 3.03 (on Project Manticore) can be seen here

I never thought I'd hear The Rock gushing but here it is:
The Rock Reviews "Notta Normal Day"
Jam Pony - early morning
Well as per the usual I LOVE jampony scenes and if you've ever read my reivews of the episodes that is well documented.
Anyway Normal was great, the dialogue while not fresh or new was still hilarious and entertaining and very visual as it was intune with the show and segments of that nature, well done.
Know Your Role:
Infirmary, Terminal City
Well I think that Aveta needs to let loose abit, she seems to be a wildcard as it relates to personal information, we don't know much about her, she seems to be extrodinarily good at diagnosis at a glance as per her interaction with Logan.
Max and the whole commander thing was out of character, I'm suprised it was mentioned, though I suppose that Max's dialogue would be appropriate in this instance.
SMACKDOWN:
Jam Pony
Bwhahaahhahaaha, ah I love these people. This scene was clouded by the fact that these transgenics showed up and the idea of Normal running an underground railroad is intriguing, not so suprising I suppose seeing how he was visably changed after the conflict at Jampony, still his reactions as it pertained the transgenics and his willingness to help were somewhat wierd...still it was a fantastic scene.
Living Quarters, Terminal City
What a very sweet scene, I quite enjoyed it. Joshua continually suprises me with his giant leaps in human development and his ever growing knowledge of all things childhood, unlike the rest of the transgenics who are just kids themselves Joshua is more developed yet under developed and I think the show used that to display some very profound things and to allow us to see some very real ideas, and I think you've duplicated that well here with Joshua and his sometimes eccentric sense of humour.
Jam Pony
Well this is definitely the best Act 1 of all three episodes thus far and more Jampony then I could ever shake a Jampony Stick at:) Whoever wrote these scenes needs to be commended for great observation and the ability to improvise more scenes that are carefully based on the real thing and it's been done to perfection.
Nice to see the messengers actually doing something with there no good rotten lives, I'm impressed

The Rock Reviews "Notta Normal Day"
Command Center, Terminal City
Another interesting scene that was remarkably good, for all the commotion that seemed to be happening I was impressed how the air was able to clear and things feel in place, I think I should state right now that the writers who did this episode need to write all the others because this is the best episode yet.
CANDY ASS:
The Atrium, Terminal City
Bah! more Asha...damn why can't White just brutally murder her...and come to think of it why can't he brutally murder Logan while he's at it.
SMACKDOWN:
Outdoors, Terminal City
Another great scene to follow up that brutal scene, this is what The Rock likes to see, OC and Sketchy seemed alittle off in their characters, I'm not sure that Sketchy is as useless as people thing and I hope that is a direction you would consider for the character.
I'm pleased that Mole is showing a tad more restraint although it's too good to last at least according to the spoiler from last week...yeah yeah I read it.
Also I'm glad common sense on behalf of the writers has finally kicked in, having all of the action taking place in one scene, one location unlike previous episodes was a nice change and kept good flow to the story.
Command Center, Terminal City
As much as I hate M/L shippy scenes this was one was pure brillance and very accurate to how I would expect the actors to respond, nice bounce off effects between them and appropriate dialogue, I'm very impressed with how this story is being written, you should all be commended to those of you who read this review.
Jam Pony - late morning
Heheheheh, I love jampony scenes, it's more Smackdown what can I say. the transgenics are getting more on Normal's nerves then ever, to add even more effect it wouldn't suprise me if Otto burst in to interrogate him LOL and he'd break too at this point.
Cup a' Joe Coffee Shop, Seattle
Coffee in seattle? gosh how original. Another great scene, I have to stop complimenting you people for being so good it's getting repetitive, the one thing that bothered me was the pictures of Cale that had somehow turned up, this is suprising for several reasons that deal with continuity I'm suprised that they have made an appearance, suffice to say i didn't like the inclusion.
Other then that it was a splendid scene, Clemente is starting to worry me and Matt Sung continually amazes with his loyalty to Logan, even though I knew it was always there, a doubt lingered, that has now been expunged.
It seems to me that Bling may soon be brought into this story by Sung as a way to head off Clemente, I think Bling would gladly sacrifice himself for Eye's Only and since he had very little to do with any of it I can't see him being arrested or charged.
Jam Pony
Hehehehe another good scene, again dialogue was perfect and Normal as cranky as ever gave it a very episodic feel that has lacked in all the other episodes thus far, this is the only one that seems like a TV episode through and through and has given me a visual stimualtion I was lacking before, thanks to the writers...Whew never though I'd hear myself say that.
I'll review the rest later.
