after a few computer crashes and a serious babel intoxication I come back with a question for those who have managed to see the interview to the end. The last question seems to refer to Freak Nation and to a possible continuation. And this is what MW says - well Babel version... Denouement, really the James * ?? taking the megaphone, with the work which is supervised, is special what of 90 minutes. But on May 3rd the Frak Nation it was the audience rating which is considerably better than the normality. However you think, any present things it has become the episode which is different at all, the viewer liked very, it is is. Positive having impression through the whole, the ? we would like to see, is. sounds like Yoda speaking... and JA - sounds more promising: Actually, there is a story that the James * ?? " it will film ", is. Don't you think? the beginning ' from at the time of darkness * angel ' 1st story! Therefore as for the gym the person whom always you intend to film what (laughing). Therefore as for the gym the person who is thought regardless largely, if " more time distantly there is a gold, bigger work can be made!" Like the ? ? and oral habit you say the ?. Above he supervises, because to be pleasant work could do clue and the cast enormously, however you think, everyone by all means, it gets together, whether or not it films, the ? which is not understood. Can you understand anything ? Or relate it to the rp interview ? Maybe combined we get more. I've already kidnapped an Asian looking girl at the computer pool, but she was from China. I can't go on doing that...

Finally! I managed to listen to the whole thing from beginning to end and I figured out what MW said about FN, but jessica's answer is blurry. I got the gist of it, yes JC wants a movie and wished he had the money for it. But you are right, frenchie. RP sucks big time. I mean, I can't pause it or replay a certain part because then my pc freezes or takes forever. And then it's buffering in the middle of their answer and by the time it's done buffering I forgot what they were saying... And really, I *am* having trouble understanding parts of it. For example there is a MW part that sounds quite interesting when he says something about the road Max has to travel and the role Logan plays in that context. But of course the darn thing has to be buffering and eats up half their answer.... Well, anyway, I love the interviews, the content is much better and more complex than what we had in Germany. I wish there is a way somebody could cut out all the Japanese. I don't know how they could stand it without being bored out of their minds.

OK, so I´m really bored out of my mind today... And because I´m not willing to sit around and watch MTV all day, I decided to type up the japanese Michael Weatherly interview for everyone who couldn´t watch it yet ;D Here´s part 1: Question: Dark Angel is the first work of Mister Cameron for TV, I understand. And what was your reaktion after working with Mister Cameron? Michael: (laughs) Aahh, my reaction...well I was thrilled to have the opportunity to even meet him initially for the audition. And ahhh you know, I know Mister Cameron socially first, where he is very relaxed and very friendly and very funny engaging great storyteller. And then I know because he directed the season finale. And I had a few other discussions with him about work over the last few years. I saw a different Jim Cameron who is totally dedicated and passionate and a workaholic, who does not stop until he´s done. Until.. someone actually has to come up and unplug the camera and say "We have to go home now" cause everyone else is too tired. There´s 130 people standing around just ... dying. And he still has this energy and wants to go. And the next morning he does it again. (Japanese translation) ... in the meantime Michael´s playing with a bottle of water, trying not to fall asleep... Question: And when you think MY answers are long...when you interview Mr. Cameron you´ll see his answers are REALLY long. (laughs) (Japanese translation) ... Michael looking bored as hell, then amused, then bored..... Michael: It´s true (laughs) Question: So in the last few years you worked with Mr. Cameron who is that workaholic or dedicated person and what kind of influence did you get from mr. cameron by working with him? Michael: (thinking a bit) I think that it confirmed for me .... the idea that I should trust my ideas, trust my instincts and my heart, my gut and if I have a feeling about how somethink should happen or how something should go I shouldn´t be afraid of that impuls. Because even if it´s the smallest detail, all of these details accumulate to something original and interesting. As opposed to trying to do just a kind of basic wash over. That was not good enough for him, and it´s.. it was never good enough for me. So, no compromise, is what I learned. (Japanese translation) ... Michael´s trying to focus..but it´s all japanese ;-) Question: So I understand is what you learned is not to compromise. And I believe you had a very good teamwork while working for Dark Angel and you worked with Jessica Alba as well in the past few years. And what do you think is the most attractive point of Jessica? Michael: (laughs) The translation is funny on that ... because the attractive POINT (scratches his chest thinking of a better translation for it) Question:thing.. Michael: ..feature Question: Feature! Michael: Aaahahahah.. again. Well the obvios answer is that Jessica is a beautiful ... woman. Ummm (scratches his chin) Working with Jessica and knowing her has allowed me to see ... aahh (thinking like mad)... the most beautyful thing (smiles) which is the way that she puts her thoughts together and the way that her brain works is ... is (smiles) inspiring. And I think that in the future ther will be many, many interesting Jessica Alba movies and things and ... ahh ... I´m her number 1 fan!(smiles from ear to ear) (Japanese translation) ... Question: So in the future, would you like to co-star with Jessica again, in movies or TV Series? And if you do, what kind of a charakters would you like to play and what kind of stories would you like to have? Michael: (pauses a bit thinking about the q) Well, the movie that I was watching while we were doing Dark Angel is an Alfred Hitchcock movie called "Notorious"(spell?) with Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant. And Ingrid Bergman is a spy and Cary Grant, he´s an american spy with a british accent. Umm.. And he sends het into jeapardy. It reminded me of the relationship that Logan and Max had and was something that ... it resonated with me. In the future I think ... I would live to work with Jessica. I have NO idea what it would be. My fear is that I´ll get cast to play her father. (chuckles) (Japanese translation) ... ... to be continued...

Part 2: Question: And now the series 2, it´s going to be launched as DVD and video and also series 1 is going to be broadcasted on TV from july in Japan. And now you have many fans of Dark Angel in Japan but from july it´s going to be on broadcasting, there will be new fans, or there will be many people who have not watched Dark Angel yet, but they will watch it from july. And those people who are going to be exposed to Dark Angel for the first time. Do you have any advise in watching Dark Angel. ( ) or a hint or tips to watch ( ) Michael Weatherly: Yes! I would say that I´ve used the comparisation of Dark Angel as a .. like a vitamin C candy. Where you have a candy on the outside that tastes good. Like Dark Angel has fight scenes, Jessica looks good and it´s like candy coated. But on the inside there is something of value, like a vitamin. Something that is good for you. And something about the human spirit and about our quest as human beings to learn to live together in this new technological world. And Dark Angel can be seen on many levels and that´s like the greatest thing about it. (Japanese translation) ... Michael´s scratching his chin ... poking his cheek .... Question: Is there any key characters to pay attention to the audiences? Michael Weatherly: Umm.. I would say every character has his value but in season 1 Lydecker is the character that to me is the most interesting. His journey. (Japanese translation) Question: Last question is, could you please give message to people who visit the Excite website? Michael Weatherly: OK, what kind of a message. Question: About Dark Angel ... To people who watch Dark Angel. Could you please give them a message. Michael Weatherly: Ok, well , a message to those people who are about to watch, or who have watched Dark Angel ... ummm..gosh ... what do I say, I mean a message like ""Hi I´m Michael Weatherly"? No, not that. Not an idea. I´ll say "I..." (shakes his head) aahhh... a message.... would be: I hope you enjoy Dark Angel and the show is .. it´s season 1 and season 2. Season 1 is .... I can´t say.. I can´t give a short answer. Oh, what do I say (smiles). Tell her to write something and I´ll say it really naturally. How do you say "watch" in japanese? Question: Mite (spell?) Michael Weatherly: Konnichiwa, mite Dark Angel. (smiles) Heh? (thumbs up, laughing) Question: Thank you very much. Michael Weatherly: Aligato! Question: Would you like to take some more pictures? Michael Weatherly: Sure. OK. (poor guy is posing for pictures by the window for like 2 minutes. God, must have been REALLY uncomfortable.... Photographer´s trying to give him instructions like to stand up or get rid of his glasses, but they don´t speak english so it´s all funny and weird ;-)) Michael Weatherly: You want these glasses off? How did I know that? (laughs) Photographers: Thank you! Michael Weatherly: Thank YOU! Aligato! It´s my only word (laughs) OK, that´s it! ;D

Thanks so much for the transcript and pics! They're all really good. And that site looks awesome: sometimes i wish that i spoke and read japanese. I would so go for a short-haired Max: Jessica is looking great. They look awesome together. I totally love Michael's new glasses: he looks odd without them. Did anyone else think it sounded like he had jet lag?
