Let's face it: Dark Angel was really good for all levels and persons, in spite of some of the exaggerated, made-up slang that was sometimes difficult. The situation it presented, the people it gave us, the irony in its humor, its struggle to fine one's humanity, the resistance to the irresistabel pull of love, the passion for justice - it was too good!
I liked Hit a Sista Back, and enjoyed Alba's performance. Think I'll take another look - there were differences in the personalities; they helped bring each other "around" to the present mess; they had different attitudes or approaches; "Sam" seemed the better balanced to me in spite of her having been presented as in Manticore longer, but then she was "out" for 2 years on a "mission". Two years among us "normals" can change things even with the Manticore brainwashing. Children have a strong effect. Maybe the son "Sam" had influenced her more than the adults. Too bad we didn't get more background on her.
Has anybody noticed how really lousy the summer TV schedule has been?
