Are you going to post your new fic at ff.net? ;D Dunno... if it had just been the one, probably not; if I had a bunch more, probably. But having only these two for far, and only a glimmer of one more idea that may not pan out... (maybe if I post at FFN I'll be inspired to add more...) Actually, I was on a mini-mission with one of the mods at RH to see if the RH challenges might be made a bit more -- uh -- approachable. Maybe it's me, but the challenges so far-- often a set quote, usually fairly specific -- doesn't allow a lot of flexibility and as a result, I suspect these promps inspire fewer stories than open-ended prompts do. My favorite challenge site's prompts are on Live Journal's "NCIS Flashfiction" in which they have (nearly always) a one word prompt, many times one with many meanings & uses (as in, some can be a noun, a verb OR an adj.) Such freedom allows a huge variety of fic as a result. Prompts have included "picture," "ice." "influence," "holiday," "marks" -- you get the idea. Any meaning (slang, formal, implication, what have you) is acceptable. pretty cool, huh? And the fun thing they're doing now is, instead of a two week period to write, they have a sex week "amnesty" during the holidays, where you can go back and pick up ANY prompt from 2007 and use it... The mod was pleasant and said they'd take a look. I don't think I convinced her, but maybe I should make a New Year's resolution to get something like that going for DA M/L... ;D

Are you going to post your new fic at ff.net? Finally got around to it. Still only two little vignettes, but hoping to come up with some more. It may be found as Imponderables and Other Dilemmas(and, sorry, Spikeloud, they're too short & too mooshy to be of much use as a substitute for Survivor or Big Brother... )

...and i was getting my hopes up too.......damn Sorry, Spikey ... these aren't much other than feeding my perverse need to tackle a challenge... Which now has a 3d entry: but no moosh and no Logan, just an over-analyzing, mopey Max. (Must be a reaction to eating all the party food for the past 2 weeks! I'm toxed out!)
With that effusive recommendation, you can find Empty Efforts here... (aptly named, maybe?)~ ~

Posting here because it's not officially a part of the recent Challenge we've used to flood FFN with M & L fic (which, according to Mari, now has us with 14 M/L stories up over the holiday!) But my annual whack at an M/L Christmas is posted a bit belatedly -- Santa's Little Helper. Hope everyone had a very merry holiday... ~ ~

I'm tempted to read this based on the title alone . but first a question. Are we still waiting for the second part of that Tony + Logan story? Or did it get posted and I missed it? Mine was good , hope yours was as well ( mine would have been better but I missed my semi yearly viewing of The Shop Around the Corner. Did TCM not play it this year? If only everybody watched this Jimmy Stewart Christmas movie instead of that other one ....the world would be a better place )

Are we still waiting for the second part of that Tony + Logan story? Or did it get posted and I missed it? Uh, no, you didn't miss anything; the upcoming chappie is still either half or a quarter done, depending on whether I end up making this installment in one part or two. (If it counts, I actually pulled this out last night, thinking I really ought to update & post ... did the same with one other long-pending story... Yep, it was, thanks! Oh, The Shop Around the Corner -- actually hadn't ever seen it until a couple years ago... don't know how I missed it 'til then but I agree, would like to see it shown in place of at least 50 or 60 of the airings of Wonderful Life... And I missed my favorite annual sappy movie, "Holiday Inn." Gotta love Fred...

We shouldn't be doing this in your very own little home here shy, but my favorite Christmas movie is "Love Actually" which I watch often. Now get on that story and make it two parts. You've got dzero reading fan fiction. Don't let him get away.
