Really enjoyed Thor Good solid superhero movie. Got me kind of excited to see the Avengers movie next year. That seems to be the general concensus

When I saw Thor there were a bunch of comic book movie trailers... X Men : The New Class and Captain America looked good IMO. The Green Lantern and Cowboys and Aliens looked lame Am looking forward to this one www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDUpOXfwQUo

I went to see Hanna yesterday and I really have to strongly recommend this here. I'm still struggling to get my head around the fact that this crazy feral film was directed by the same guy that did Atonement and Pride and Prejudice. I really think that Shy, dzero and a few others here would enjoy it. Mostly because its got a great vibe, it really is just like one of the neo-classic Brit/Euro-Indie gangster movies. Fast frenetic but with a distinctly European artistry and style. Despite the fact that its an espionage film and not a gangster film it feels in a similar family with stuff like Sexy Beast, The Hit and Layer Cake. It also has one of the most awesomely original takes on film scoring I've seen in a while, which was composed by the Chemical Brothers.

Yeah I wanted to see this but just haven't had the chance when I saw the trailer I got a little Dark Angel vibe just from the young girl who was a killing machine angle. Also want to see Bridesmaids it's supposed to be hilarious.

red band trailer for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoowww.youtube.com/watch?v=8kOFGI0p6SMLooks good to me , I am definitely not reading this, I always hate the movie if I read the book first and I really want to like this movie P.S. the general consensus on the net is that the trailer is a purposeful leak and not pirated. This is based on the sound quality of the music.

Despite the fact that I couldn't care less about the books or the story, I'll watch pretty much anything David Fincher makes. The run he's on Se7en, Fight Club, Zodia, Benjamin Button and Social Network, quite a run.

Was just reading an article about screenwriters and it seems the writer of HANNA was an unknown from Vancouver who sent out an email to agents titled simply "A girl is trained to be an assassin" I think this guy owes some residuals to Dark Angel ;D
