Movies that I recently watched on a plane:
Apologies if I've got the titles screwed up
Star Trek Into Darkness - Liked it, especially how they are drawing from the original versions. I'm always prepared to suspend belief with this franchise.
This is the End (Seth Rogan movie) - Completely stupid and I loved it
The Worlds End (Simon Pegg movie) - beginning is good but then it slowssssss...and I fell asleep. Not sure what happens in the end
Skyfall - what can I say except it's more James Bond. Liked the start but fell asleep towards the end. It took 4 tries to watch the last 20 mins of the movie. I really cannot get into Daniel Craig.

I'm always prepared to suspend belief with this franchise. See that is what bothered me about this film, I was into it at the beginning but when I realised it was just a remake of the wrath of Kahn I just I loved the reboot they did a couple years ago and they recycled a story from the series for it but after that I think they need to do new stories or at least avoid the stories from the movies and recycle one from the series. Am encouraged though that in the next they will be on a 5 years mission Can't believe I haven't seen either of these Love Craig as Bond, could watch these movies over and over. Having said that the ending bothered me a little on this one. He takes her up to Scotland all alone with just 75 year old Albert Finney for help? ?? really? think it would have been cooler and more realistic if he had called in some other 00's yes I just questioned the realism of a James Bond movie

I really liked the opening sequence. That got my attention!
I just realised that in a strange way Skyfall and Into Darkness are almost the same film!
Super smart ex team member blows up head office > hero is temporarily off the team > hero has a hunch > mission to find/track down dude > team is constantly thwarted by baddies inside knowledge > heroes mentor/supporter dies > hero wins out in the end.
He he

Yeah, only seems like half a costume.
I finally watched KickAss (only a year or so late). Great film!! Is it true that number 2 isn't worth the effort?

I was all fan-girly last week when I went to see the Veronica Mars wearing my backers t-shirt. There were only 2 screenings in Melbourne so it was quite a treat. Yeah the movie was totally pandering to the fans - but I liked it.
