Agreed, that was beyond simple flirting!!! I wondered if she thought she could fit in a quickie in between having her fan belt changed and picking up the kid from ballet? Is $9 the going rate? Betty has emerged from her cocoon and she ain't going back! Have just watched 2.02 and agree on your assessment of Don losing his grip on 'Master of the Universe' status. Bet he wishes he had never hired 'Duck'. I guess he's the new evil? Psych was so so. Probably would have preferred it if one the guys was shot out of a canon or something! ;D

Betty has emerged from her cocoon and she ain't going back! lol so true You know, she just might the most f^cked up character on the show. That's saying quite a lot considering what some of those guys pull. And really Don should be more f^cked up and weird than he is, considering his childhood. But Betty with the little kid and shooting the birds last season and now this....she takes the prize. LOL Don must have a serious Grace Kelly fixation to put up with this. ;D ;D ;D ;D But the thing that might push him over the edge is how she treats their son. Don did not like how Betty was talking to/about him. Considering Don't upbring I think being a father to his son is the most important thing to him. Not that he is a good father or anything ;D . Have just watched 2.02 and agree on your assessment of Don losing his grip on 'Master of the Universe' status. Bet he wishes he had never hired 'Duck'. I guess he's the new evil? I think it's a matter of time til 'Duck' gets crushed. Him running to someone else every time he needs to confront Don? ? whiny little b!tch He is too obvious about it. Was interesting how Pete turned to Don after his father died. After all the confrontation last season. It was like that senior partner said something like if Don spared him then Pete would be the most loyal to Don from then on. And WOW at the conversation between the Red Head and the writer guy she used to date. Two exes just being so casually cruel to each other, tearing each other apart without a second thought. Fascinating. not that I've ever done anything like that

Doesn't EVERY man! (well anyone over the age of 40 ) Love the way they just left it, no explanation or 'seen' consequences for her actions. You forgot to mention the washing machine scene from last season! Gotta ditch my front loader and get me a machine like Betty's! Ooooh baby

Love the way they just left it, no explanation or 'seen' consequences for her actions. It was nicely done. I always assumed she missed, who knows. I did forget that. One of the early episodes right? I do remember that um.......shall we say message belt thingy. ;D Maybe they still make those, got to be cheaper than a new washing machine. oh, and can I just say Don deserves a SLAP for turning down that waitress

Why don't we have a separate thread for Mad Men and one for Psych ?
Why WHY WHY
We have all these empty rooms. Let's fill 'em up.

Typical management thinking ;D Honestly I think one thread for OT tv shows promotes more discussion than if each show has it's own thread. For example take Mr. Clark's movie review thread, I think he got more replies to his reviews when they were in the main movie thread with everyone else's reviews/comments. JMHO

Really liked this weeks Psych. Am really enjoying how they are changing the formula up but still keeping it fun. Good news for shywriter.......lots of Henry in this one. Good news for me....... some good Jules moments in this one. All this and an Idle Hands reference. ;D though I don't remember any actual nudity in that film. think it might have been some wishful thinking on the part of Psychs writers.

Really liked this weeks Psych. Am really enjoying how they are changing the formula up but still keeping it fun. I did too! ;D ;D And as much as I thought the mother-casting was a dud I liked whatisname as Uncle Jack... Now, let me go on record here: I like Henry's character and even more like seeing Corbin Bernsen playing a role so different than I remembered seeing from him... but it's not that I'm watching for him for the same reasons you're watching for Jules.... For that, my heart belongs to MW! ;D (and a few other random bits of beef who shall go unmentioned for the moment... ;D)

On this rare occasion, one thread is better than 3 because I can have 3 conversations at once and go off on a tv tangent without being OT ;D
Haven't seen this week's Psych yet. Been too busy watching the Olympics. Good to hear that 'everyone' approved and that they're managing to shake it up without spilling out any of the good stuff.

Just finished watching the last episode of Generation Kill, just an amazing series and I cant recommend the mini-series or the book highly enough. One of the most insightful and fascinating perspectives on the invasion of Iraq. David Simon and Ed Burns are geniuses and are by far two of the most underrated men in Hollywood.
I would also like to say that for the record dzero's current avatar rocks, Yahtzee is awesome and you get major props for having the good sense to watch his stuff.

Do I get to keep those props if I have no idea who he is and just grabed a cool looking avatar from someone on another site? probably not, huh?
