NCIS TONIGHT ON USA!!!Looks like we get three episodes tonight (and what a trio! Twilight, and Kill Ari I & II), starting at 8 PM EST (or so says TV Guide's web listing.) All of us "snowed in" ( ;D) can just curl up & watch DiNozzo & friends...

Ive been watching the USA repeats since they started. It's the first time I've seen most of these early episodes and I can't say I'm a fan . They just don't have the humor that the current episodes have ( although don't get me started on that last new episode Tribes and and it's BS ) and nothing against Sasha Alexander but her character just doesn't have as much personality as Ziva David . The Kill Ari episodes were right around the time I started watching regularly and I just watched them and the improvement is noticeable. It seems like a different show than the first eps and for that I am glad .

I never thought that the NCIS writers valued Kate Todd's character in the way that they have Ziva David and that the writers didn't allow Kate to contribute much to the storylines on her own without Tony or Gibbs not somehow being involved. I thought that the only time that Kate's work and background prior to joining NCIS was used in a constructive and positive manner was during "Twilight." I also think that the writers spent way too much time on mistakes that Kate made instead of on the positive things that Kate did and could've contributed. I know that many people were concerned about NCIS after Kate's departure but, now it seems as though the concern was over nothing.

watched some of it yesterday but i had to cut away for the supernatural saturday on bbc america (doctor who and torchwood) Thanks to DiZzero I missed only the first two! I used it as an excuse to clean closets & drawers, throw out old stuff under the sink, fold stacks of laundry & wash more-- with TVs on across the house so I could listen to all the non-Tony or less compelling bits but stop & watch MW's scenes! (and actually got a good amount of stuff done! ;D) And I've already confessed to Mari -- I loved watching the girly, Tony & Jeanne scenes all over again! (but a lot easier to watch knowing the Tadpole would be hitting the road soon!) Saw lots of eps I hadn't seen for a while and enjoyed the heck out of being saturated in NCIS! (does that make me a squealing fangirl all over again?)

Didn't watch any, kind of disappointed they are showing the later seasons. I know I posted earlier in the thread that I didn't care for some of the earlier eps but after I posted the episodes from S1 started getting better IMO. Looks like they hit their stride. Unfortunately they seem to have stopped the Wednesday night airings .

So... marathon today, marathon next week... Is this a regular thing now, multiple hours each weekend of NCIS? I could live with it, but it's gonna cut down on my social life...

A JULY 4TH NCIS MARATHON ON USA NETWORK!Extra added attraction: First they're showing Jag, ending with the 2-Jag-Episode pilot for NCIS, Ice Queen & Meltdown, then going on to 8 hours of NCIS. So even though the listings show the NCIS marathon starting at 3 PM EDT, tune in two hours before that to see the very start of the DiNozzo goodness (and forgive him his hair.... ) Perfect excuse to get out of those tiresome family barbecues... ;D oh, yeah, like Mom's gonna understand that excuse... unless she's an NCIS fan too!
