Well in the spirit of extreme boredem trying something new, I've done what dzero is doing with Bones, except with Chuck. I've watched the first 4 episodes of the new season and I gotta say I'm not impressed. I won't give any spoilers away for Angelz about the 4th ep she hasn't watched yet but I do have two things to say about it. Firstly Angie Harmon is still gorgeous, secondly I sort of loved and sort of hated the whole ode to Fight Club thing. One the one hand the level of detail they went to with the sunglasses and especially the musical cues was cool, on the other hand no one satirizes Fight Club! As far as the show as a whole I'm really not digging it tbh, the character of Chuck just feels like a not as witty version of Seth Cohen from the OC. As a result when it comes to playing the whole awkward yet funny Jew, Zachary Levi just doesn't hold a candle to Adam Brody. That being said he doesn't get the kind of great one liners Brody got or have anyone to provide the witty repartee Ben McKenzie did so well on the OC. Adam Baldwin was tolerable on Firefly but here hes kind of obnoxious. Honestly just going by your movie and TV reviews I would have never recommended the show to you. And despite how lightweight and goofy the show is I don't think it's something anyone should start watching in the middle of S3, this is one of those that needs to be seen from the beginning. I know, I always knew it wasn't really my cup of tea and your probably right about it being the wrong time to jump on board.

Boo-hoo Sal. Sorry you didn't like Chuck Mr.Clark and that you couldn't see the funny side of the fight club spoof. BTW Zach Levi is not jewish. Watchasaybout Adam Baldwin . Casey is definitely my fave character on the show! I do not like Chuck's new hair. I think someone described him as looking like Greg Brady - which is sooooo true!!! Loved the Awesome-centric ep. Not sure about Shaw. Is Brandon Routh a robot? I am so behind of my tv-watching due to MrAZ and my current obsession. www.imdb.com/title/tt0487831/www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKHyqjHqQLU&feature=related

BTW Zach Levi is not jewish. His name alone sounds too Jewish to be true, I'll take your word for it though as its not really that significant to the point I was making. The character of Chuck feels alot like a riff on Josh Schwartz (the creator of the OC, Chuck and Gossip Girl), which is basically what Seth Coen's character was on the O.C. basically a goofy Jewish kid that pinball's through life with little more than his endearing whit, in that comparison I feel Adam Brody was a more interesting take on the archetype. As far as my feelings on the scripting one of the problems is that I believe Schwartz has channeled more of his fun and biting whit into Gossip Girl than he has with Chuck.

His name alone sounds too Jewish to be true, lol fair enough, I have no idea about the actor but the character celebrated Christmas last season See this is where watching the show from the beginning would come in, I don't think any of the regular viewers would agree on that assessment of the character. The show has always been lightweight and funny but in many ways the character was lost and lonely at the start of the series. He wasn't so much pinballing through life as hiding from life. This all really came into play in last nights ep with Sara becoming worried about what being a spy is doing to Chuck.

Started watching Human Target, not a great show but not a bad one either. Mark Valley and Jakie Earle Haley are fun to watch and the shows got a neat vibe thats sort of Jason Bourne meets McGiver, blended into a pulp comic style of character writting. So far my biggest complaint is thats its been a bit to ambitious with some of its big stunt scenes, the mission impossible train sequence felt really flat. I would really like it if they shrunk down their ambition like the Bourne scenes, stick to smart but simple effects and action seqences not the big burning trains and planes.

I've been kinda meh on the first couple eps of the new season of Psych but the third episode was a 10 So many great lines I wouldn't know where to begin quoting. The best fight scene since DA went off the air ;D. Oh yeah and I always knew Juliet would fall in love with a Scott

I've never watched 'Lost' more than very sporadically, so never blamed them before for getting... lost ( ) with their plot... but time travel!?! Teletransporting all over the planet? Huh?

I'm really loving Lost this season...however I doubt if I could follow the plot if it wasn't for the 2 or 3 podcasts that I listen to that decipher the whole show for me. *** Yes MrTV, the Juliet Pysch ep was excellent.

I think it might be time to take Burn Notice off my regular viewing schedule. It's been way too formulaic this season with yet another all powerful yet mysterious bad guy making life miserable for Michael and his team . But last weeks episode really ticked me off, it was the best ep of the season by far and at the end after they had defeated the eps antagonist and he opted for suicide instead of prison they threw away all credibility and rescued him In the shows first couple of seasons they would have let him die. There must be a Jump the shark smiley somewhere on the internet
