I don't think that having another recurring character male or female is a good idea for this show ...but... that's what I was asking: Are they? I don't usually read spoilers and I really wouldn't be surprised in the least if someone else does show up and I wouldn't be surprised if we have another character who is written awkwardly without much to do. I think that one person in that role is enough and we don't need someone else there now.

Loved the fact that there was sooooooooooo much good Tony - but I admit the episode had to grow on me. Initially I was annoyed that we seemed to be getting a clip show to help the newbies get on board...but then I calmed down and sat back to relish all of MW's awesomeness. I can't tell you how happy I was that the team didn't specifically go the Africa on a rescue mission. I'm always ready to suspend reality on so many different areas with this show - but that would have tested my even my devotion to MW. MLFan I don't think it's necessary to pull the horns out every time you hear some casting call news about the possibility of a 'new' character. While I agree with you that I don't want to see any additional team members, I do believe that the show is better when they have the occasional semi-regular 'satellite' character to help embellish the storyline (eg Pacci, Gerald or Agent Cassidy).

It was a fun episode and Michael Weatherly looked like he was having far too much fun. That being said there was quite a bit that was patently ridiculous starting with Gibb's Usain Bolt like 2k meter dash in under 30 seconds. Then theres the hole Raptors don't fly off carriers thing but thats just nit picking.

(and I was accused today of 'nit picking' when I pointed out that someone claiming $78,000 in lost items had documented only about $40K of it. Yeah, I'm such a jerk. : That being said -- of course I'm with everyone here & on Special Ops who thought MW did a great job. But no one has mentioned Cote de Pablo, and I thought the few minutes we saw her were extraordinaty -- especially knowing how bubbly and effervescent she usually appears to be in RL (not the serious Ziva at all) it really struck me way down deep, how that subdued pain we saw in her was bone deep, her energy level dialed way, way low... she looked so, so damaged and in response, the last scenes of Tony were almost as battered. I watched it again (and, yes, again) and though I was so struck by her the first time, the next two were almost more dramatic, because it wasn't just the surprise that she was brought in but that she really carried this terrible hurt ... those last shots of them were just amazing. Yeah, I liked it okay.

i agree Cote did a great job too, so did Sean Murray. They all did a great job. I would like to see Tony and McGee team up some more times.

Absolutely -- that was a whole new thing, the Tim-Tony team-equality thing: I like that they just did it, without a lot of painful exposition explaining that they're now buddies, but even so it really does make me curious for how they got there. The scenes at the restaurant, in the hall ("the whole 'pah!' thing") were really intriguing! (so, Michele, are we the only 2 here overly obsessiong about this? At least we two understand the profundity of this ep! ;D)

it could not have been easy for McGee to lay and listen to Tony getting beaten. I like all the charators, but still not sure about Vance.

Its a military themed show and theres hundreds of military advisors working in Hollywood for just this purpose.

If I was being a nitpicker I'd question a plan that depends on the terrorists keeping the blinds open ;D I liked the ep, thought they mixed the comedy of the flashbacks from the summer with the intensity of the interrogation really well and that is not an easy thing to do.
