i'm lost dzero is this something you did recently?? yes, last night Apparently on my phone if you just press the # it locks so you can't make any calls. Guess people have this to keep their kids from making tons of calls Don't have any kids so I had never given the "lock" feature any thought. Had to look up on the internet how to unlock.

That's better than needing your phone and then realizing you don't know the pin... at least once a year

Hmmmmm, I'm looking at my phone wondering if I can lock it. Now I'm wondering if I can grab a cell phone out of the hand of someone at the grocery store and lock it. I'll just go around doing that. I hate people talking on the phone in stores and in restaurants as if they are all that important. Okay, if you're a lawyer** buying smoked salmon and caviar and the court is calling to say "The jury is coming back - get here fast." Or if the hospital calls a surgeon while he's shopping for chips and dip, and says, "Your patient is bleeding out, get here fast." I can understand calls for emergencies - but to chat while you're holding up the line to check out. That is irritating. ** hee hee, private little joke for shy

Off to see Hillary in a couple hours! For real. This is hysterical, though; it was supposed to be Bill, and they made a last minute switch -- as in, about 36 hrs ago-- that the candidate would come. Obama will be in the capital Monday. This is so emblematic of the current state of affairs, that both Democratic candidates are coming to a very Republican state with a late primary-- doesn't happen too often here! Typical for our paper, very little info/publicity here locally. ...and imagine this! (I know this is a small city in a very Republican state, but do they really think there will be so few people?) Since they first announced this -- for both Bill *and* Hillary -- they're saying there will be a "complimentary breakfast..." (I just keep rememering the hoardes of people at other venues, and imagining the lines for beignets and coffee! )

Looks like Obama timed things just right Barack Obama 253,441 60.71% Hillary Clinton 154,852 37.10% Kinda so-- except that all along they've been thinking he might have done even better than that! All in all, the best was seeing that there are this many Dems alive and kicking in such a Republican state! (however, it's a "cross-over" state so anyone registered can vote in either party's primary they choose, no need to vote for the party for which you're registered....) Oh, and as a PS for anyone wondering-- YES! Full free catered breakfast!! Even tho' far more than they thought came out to see Hillary, even as the last funneled in there was STILL some coffee, juice, eggs, and, yes, folks (this *is* the South!) grits! If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I still wouldn't believe it...
