Yeah - that's okay in Phoenix because you guys know it's gonna be hot there. LOS ANGELES COUNTY COAST- 321 AM PDT SUN JUL 23 2006
...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM PDT THIS EVENING...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOS ANGELES/OXNARD HAS ISSUED AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM PDT THIS EVENING.
VERY HIGH TEMPERATURES COMBINED WITH HIGH HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL PRODUCE DANGEROUS HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 105 AND 115 DEGREES FROM LATE THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING. THE HIGHEST HEAT INDEX VALUES ARE EXPECTED IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN FROM BEVERLY HILLS THROUGH THE HOLLYWOOD HILLS.In the L.A. area we are not used to this kind of heat. It steals my energy. I got up at 5:45 this morning to play tennis and lasted ten minutes. AND I have to drive out to Riverside today, which is another name for hell. AND there is NO river in Riverside.

I hear you dzero and feel your pain. We had 118 here in Phoenix yesterday and today it is 116. Can't do much outside. Oh, now I feel bad for complaining . Today we are having one of those weird super hot cloudy days. I can hear thunder but no rain yet. Aerie better keep that top up otherwise she'll get all wet. If it's going to rain anywhere in SoCal today it will be in Riverside . Keep your spirits up. Remember, Monday night is Dark Angel night again and the first show will be 'blah blah woof woof'. Yeah You are really good at cheering people up .

91 degrees in Portland. Like we always say over here, theres nothin like summer in the Northwest =D I envy you! After some weeks of heat (around 35 °C / 95 °F) and humidity (over 80 %) we’re now back to around 15 °C / 59 °F and humidity.... seems like summer is over for this year . And I’m back to constantly freezing. GRR

I loved to do this when I was little. Unfortunately my grandma had this weird idea about the lawn being for watching only and not for playing

This little guy reminds me when my parents would find us running through the sprinklers and wondered why we weren't out back in the pool. ;D spikeloudIt's fun to walk around the beach area and the pier. There's great shopping, lots of second hand shops with great clothes. Venice Beach is more interesting because of the skaters, the costumes and makeup of all ages of people having fun and being crazy. Now I'm off to play Chicken at www.vinylized.us/arcade.htmWaaaaaaaaaaa. The turtles keep killing my chicken.

When are you going to Germany? Are you taking little Tweed Diapers with you? I'm gonna be there near the end of October, just for a few days. Yep the munchkin will be there too, i'm totally dreading flying with him though.

Only two months until the first snow around October, bäh… Wait, you mean it's gonna be snowing in Germany when i'm there? Bugger! Depends on where you are going – anywhere over 500 metres snow in October is a very real possibility. But who knows, with the crazy, unpredictable and April-like weather this year there’s a good opportunity it will be warm and sunny when you are in Germany. ;D
