another plot line.
Washington police are on a robbery case where two old people were also killed. The lead police detective, DiNozzo's old friend, called the NCIS since fingerprints of a veteran petty officer have been found on the crime scene. But this Marine is supposed to be dead since the 90's. The day before Christmas, preparations for Celebrations have to wait; Gibbs and his team have 24 hours to solve the case. We discover some startling personal revelations.

Tonight just might be a very silent night for those of you wishing to see Silent Night - 6.11.Selfishly, I'm just as glad... have had CBS on for about 30 min (now 15 min after NCIS started) and the weather here is so bad statewide (tornado warnings, 70-100 mph straight line winds, etc etc) they have just given up showing their regular programming -- i.e., NCIS -- and are showing us the weather map over & over... (grumbling that Tony & Gibbs are more than a match for any dumb weather.... :(I know.... )

Looking forward to this! More being released... From Aceshowbiz.com, 21/10/08:
Everybody's working late in the new episode of 'NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service', where a prime suspect is suspected to have been dead for years. A holiday season-themed episode is presented by "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" on December 16. The eleventh chapter of the sixth season which is titled "Silent Night" will still see the team solving a murder case during the nights leading to Christmas time.
They are forced to work overtime during the Christmas week when their prime suspect is discovered to have been dead for 17 years. While stuck working on the case, the team begins to discover some startling personal revelations, which includes each person "having no plan".
Peter Coyote from "Brothers & Sisters" guest stars as Ned Quinn.
On other news, it has been suggested last month that there may be a spin-off to the series that will focus on a new batch of naval officers. These new characters will be introduced in an episode of "NCIS" later this season and will then depart for their own show in next fall. Nothing is confirmed by CBS though regarding this matter. And the best! CBS has another clip!! www.cbs.com/primetime/ncis/video/video.php?cid=544192068&pid=L7CFggFU3PVs7dN2Z3N_vuCQci7uxwhc&category=recent&play=true ... another Tony-centric ep?? ;D ;D ;D

I thought the episode was so-so. At first I was worried that there wasn't going to be enough Tony (what am I talking about, there is NEVER enough Tony), but as usual what small amount of time MW did have was absolutely brilliant. Gonna smack that Ziva's ass for making our boy cry. (MrClark can I hand that task over to you?)

(MrClark can I hand that task over to you?) You most certainly can. I had a very very pleasant mental image as soon as you used the words smack Ziva and ass in the same sentence.

I thought the episode was so-so. Agreed, pretty average stuff. Though McGee getting tasered was a legitimate laugh out loud moment. ;D
