CYRUS + ALBA LEAD FEMALE CHARITY DRIVE MILEY CYRUS, JESSICA ALBA, MISCHA BARTON and VANESSA HUDGENS are among a host of female celebrities who have designed T-shirts for their favourite charities. The ladies have all created her own 'Spread the Love' T-shirt with designers at Los Angeles based fashion line 2 LOVE, which will be sold at $50 (GBP27) each. A portion of the shirts' proceeds will be donated to the star's chosen cause - Cyrus' design will benefit the 1736 Family Crisis Center, while profits from Alba's creation will go to help the Step Up Women's Network. And Alba revelled in the task. She says, "I had a blast being creative and designing this tee shirt, and I know whenever I see these tees on women, I’ll be reminded to ‘Spread the Love'!" Actress Alyssa Milano has also put her creative talents on display for the charity drive, and she is donating her T-shirt's proceeds to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) - of which she is an ambassador. She tells People.com, "I love the idea behind 2 LOVE clothing. It is fun to mix fashion and charity. The cute tank makes a statement, and helps UNICEF increase public awareness of the challenges facing the world’s children and create positive change around the globe." That Post-Baby Body? Jessica Alba 'Works At It,' Says Trainer Only three months after giving birth to baby Honor Marie, Jessica Alba is one hot mama! The actress revealed her sizzling bikini body while vacationing in Mexico. Her trainer Ramona Braganza – who last month revealed Alba, 27, had already lost 25 pounds – says the rapid results are the result of consistent workouts since Alba and husband Cash Warren welcomed Honor Marie on June 7. "She worked out an hour a day, five or six days a week, and stayed on a strict diet of about 1700 calories a day, losing 600 calories because of exercise," says Braganza. Alba stuck to a low-fat, low-carb diet as part of Braganza's 321 Baby Bulge Be Gone plan. Alba had said she wanted to take off the weight in a responsible amount of time, but Braganza tells PEOPLE that Alba made "amazing progress in a very short time. She really works at it." Didn't Feel Sexy Alba now may have that post-pregnancy glow, but she revealed in the August U.K. edition of Cosmopolitan that she "never felt less sexy" than when she was expecting, adding, "I mean, I wouldn't have changed it for the world ... but I wanted to get rid of all the weight." Alba followed Braganza's 12-week plan to the letter and is now adhering to more of her longtime trainer's advice: "Take some time off and enjoy your body. It's good to treat yourself after all that hard work." But that doesn't mean the actress lolled around and pigged out on vacation. "She loves to move," says Braganza. "She swam and played volleyball, but she was out of the gym and enjoying herself." Info from www.people.com.

From this week's People Magazine. PHOTO: Scary Jessica Alba Ad – Part 2 Originally posted Wednesday October 01, 2008 Photo by: Declare Yourself’s 2008 “Silence Yourself” Campaign / Mark Liddell Every horror story has a sequel, and Jessica Alba is again using shock value to get the word out about the importance of voting. The actress poses for another ad in the Declare Yourself campaign, this time sporting a Hannibal Lecter-type mask called The Muzzler in her provocative appeal to young voters. Explaining her passion for the campaign, Alba said, "If you don't register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself." Found this on imdb but the link to a full article on another site didn't work . Anyways long time ago around the time Honey came out Jessica was linked to a movie in development called Fathom. It was to be based on a comic book of the same name and was in development with James Cameron's production company. Haven't heard and news on this in years. Now it looks like Megan Fox is attached to the film. Still Half Naked, Megan Fox Becomes a Mermaid? 3 October 2008 9:02 AM, PDT Love her, hate her, envy her or worship her, fact is Megan Fox sells sex with the best of them. She may not be in line for an Oscar nod anytime soon, but she knows what her greatest assets are and is more than willing to flaunt the hell out of them if it means another starring role in a big Hollywood film. And that's what we're here to talk about (I think), as Now Magazine claims Fox has nabbed a lead role in the big-screen comic adaptation of Fathom -- and, luckily, this is one role where clothes are definitely optional. In Fathom (which has been in development for some time, and is now apparently over at Fox Atomic), Fox would play Aspen Matthews, an amnesiac girl who's discovered and adopted by a naval officer vacationing on a cruise line out at sea. Eventually we learn Aspen isn't just some regular girl, wiki page for the comic en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fathom_(comics) grrrgh i can't get the link to work, it goes to the wiki page for fathom the measurement but at the top of that page is a link for the Micheal Turner comic which is what I was trying to link to. Also seems as if that Turner guy died recently after battling cancer.

A sighting from this week's People Magazine. Jessica Alba, celebrating a friend's birthday with dinner at Eva Longoria Parker's Hollywood restaurant Beso. The actress and her three girlfriends had a blast – and were the last group to leave. "They were having a lot of fun, sipping on some wine; it was girls night out," says a fellow diner. "Jessica was in a great mood." Here's the link, www.people.com/people/article/0,,20231347,00.html

Collecting with the stars: celeb trading cards By DERRIK J. LANG, AP Entertainment Writer Fri Oct 24, 2008 These days, most celebrities trade on their fame for fashion lines, fragrances, reality shows and blogs. Now, some 40 famous folks -- from Scarlett Johansson to Jared Leto -- will be able to trade their fame with each other. A new line of celebrity trading cards -- yes, the little cardboard ones baseball fans used to hoard -- officially sanctioned by the stars themselves is being launched by entertainment product company A-List Global Media. Called PopCardz, the celebrity trading card line is the brainchild of Ted Kurie and Christian Troy, who once represented A-listers as an agent at Creative Artists Agency. To personally acquire celebrities' permission for the cards, Troy dug deep into his CAA contacts. "I started going around town to agents, managers, publicists and lawyers that I knew in these artists' lives," said Troy. "I pitched it as a simple and great idea, using these movie and TV stars' likeness to reach a young demographic in a really special way. We were really looking for artists who were credible and popular -- but not because of scandal." So don't except Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears cards this go 'round. The star power in the celebrity trading card collection is sprinkled with tween powerhouses (Cole and Dylan Sprouse, Ashley Tisdale, Raven-Symone), starlets (Megan Fox, Jessica Biel, Hayden Panettiere, Jessica Alba, Christina Ricci) and a few leading men (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Anton Yelchin, Giovanni Ribisi, Chris Evans). PopCardz will be sold in stores in five-card packs beginning in November. Proceeds will given to the celebrities' charities. Each card will have a unique 10-digit access code printed on it that will provide additional online content at PopCardz.com. The back of the cards list celebrities' birth dates, hometowns and mottos as well as a favorite charity, movie, song, book, place, sport, food -- and a secret. "Kath & Kim" actress Selma Blair revealed, for instance, that she wore an eye patch for a year when she was 7 because she was embarrassed about her amblyopia -- lazy eye syndrome. "Tabloids are so prevalent," said Blair. "I think this is way for kids -- or whoever is collecting them -- to find something out about their favorite celebrities, and find out really positive things about them." Blair, who accumulated "Wacky Packages" and "Superman" trading cards growing up, was one of the first celebrities to agree to be immortalized in the collection. The "Hellboy" and "Cruel Intentions" actress said she was excited the cards would benefit and prominently feature celebrities' causes. "It's a benevolent, cool thing," said Blair. Her only concern? How her card will fare among traders once it's released. "I'm sure everyone will be like, 'I'll give you 20 Selma Blairs for 1 Scarlett Johansson,'" Blair joked. An election night sighting/short interview. Another actress there rooting for Barack was Jessica Alba, dressed way down in a black sweater and jeans so as to look almost unrecognizable. She stayed close to the side of Harvey’s wife, Georgina Chapman, who runs the fashion label Marchesa and was wearing a striking gold brocade minidress. When not being squired around the room, Jessica found a few moments to talk shop: "I think we all have to start to see the change we are waiting for," she says. "We need more people that think like him…that are, I don't know, thoughtful?" When asked about Obama's first task in office, Alba suggested, "Helping Americans understand that you are part of the world and can't isolate yourself so much." Info from www.thedailybeast.com

LOL that was a nice video. I'd never seen it before thanks for the link. Great Britain/New Zealand/Australia seem to have much more fun/humor* with the whole celeb thing than here in the states. A lot of times even when Jessica is on some show I won't watch because the rest of the show is so horrid and the hosts she has to interact with are so bad , I end up just skipping a lot of her appearances. * since I'm referring to Great Britain/New Zealand/Australia should that be humour? ;D
