With plans for a June 20 release, the Myers co-produced and co-written comedy stars the comic in his first live-action role in many years playing a new character named Pitka, an American boy who was left as a child at the gates of an ashram in India, and after being raised by gurus, he moves back to the U.S. so seeks riches as a couples therapist. Malco plays a hockey player whose wife is sleeping with a member of the rival team, while Alba, Myer's love interest, is the owner of the hockey team. Troyer plays the team coach. They're all brought together when Pitka is hired to reunite Malco with his wife so that he can lead the team to the championship. The movie is being directed by Marco Schnabel for a planned June 20 release. BTW in case anyone is wondering ;D, that's an 18 year age difference. So the age difference between them is old enough to vote. ;D ;D ;D

Wasn't Beyonce, MM's love interest in Austin Powers, she and JA are the same age...Of course that's still a little grosser since she was probably like 20 when they filmed the movie. All of that being said I will still probably still out my tongue and make a gagging noise if JA and MM's kiss on screen.

Ben Kingsley joins Myers' comedy Ben Kingsley has joined Mike Myers, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Alba in the comedy "The Love Guru." The Paramount Pictures film, which marks Myers' first original character since Austin Powers, begins shooting Friday in Toronto. It's scheduled to hit theaters June 20. Myers will play Pitka, an American who was left at the gates of an ashram in India as a child and raised by gurus. He moves back to the U.S. to seek fame and fortune in the world of self-help and spirituality, specializing in settling intimacy issues between couples. In a role befitting a British knight, Kingsley plays Guru Tugginmypudha, the ashram leader who teaches Myers' character how to love himself and how to wear a chastity belt. Also joining the cast are Meagan Good ("Stomp the Yard") and "The Daily Show" correspondent John Oliver. The cast also includes Verne Troyer and Romany Malco. I hope the Blue Lady will protect me from Mike Myers. I might like him in this movie better than his others. I'm a JMA fan so I'll see it a couple of times. ;D These are the only pics I've seen from The Love Guru. Cropped of course.
