So yea i watched about half of this movie on the plane before i realised there were far to many people in there underwear to make this viewable in public without upsetting the 70 year old lady diagnoly behind me. I drew the line when the High school kid trys on womens lingerie. If the first half was anything to go by i wasn't missing much. Its just not a very good movie Jessica's role is also your typical hollywood eye candy. If i get a chance ill watch the second half but i won't be waiting with baited breath. Has this been released on DVD? Or did you download it? I know the magical ways of the internets. No seriously, theres a DVDSCR floating around.

After much reluctance I finally got around to watching this, and well, it sucked. Which is really a shame because I liked a good portion of the cast even some of the actors in supporting roles I liked. I also generally like self destruction stories, in fact there probably some of my favorites however i prefer the self destruction to be far less socially acceptable. But this hole thing was terribly executed from start to finish and i can see why this movie hasn't so far as i can tell been widely released.
It tries to pull off this hole awkward-but-funny self destruction and eventual resurrection story but it comes off as just awkward and in places extremely creepy. Jessica's relationship with a perverted minor being the most creepy aspect. The pay off and redemption when it comes feels like a week soap opera ending. Its hard to point to one thing and say, 'this killed the movie', its just a completely forgettable and not particularly entertaining film.
On a slightly more positive note Jessica came a step closer to her own personal definition of being taken seriously by TPTB, as unless i missed something, she was fully clothed for the entire runtime of this film! There was however an almost note worthy scene involving some chocolate frosting and licking but even that as titillating as it sounds doesn't make this film worth the effort.

this was on TV the other day, only saw abit of it cause had to go into town. it's a good thing you had something else to do , because this movie is not good at all as a guy though I have to admit that the scene of Jessica kissing another girl is pretty hot even if it's only a peck for jessica I think there is something positive in her performance, she plays a funky/off-beat type girl, the likes of which she has never played before and I think it's a successfully realised performance. In fact all the leads are good in their roles but despite that film is just a mess. And a boring mess too.

Yea, I've already said my piece on this film so I won't tear into it anymore. The one thing I was just thinking about was between this and the Love Guru I'm starting to wonder if Jessica might not be better off going back to the small screen for a bit. I just get the impression that either by her choice or that of the people in the casting chair, shes just not getting roles with any real potential. I know shes doing the indie thing at the moment, and that might work out well for her, personally I think she could probably land a nice staring role in a TV show and really rebuild her clout by getting that weekly exposure.

They remaking Charlies Angels into a TV show right? Maybe Jessica could get a part in it.

I think that it is probably a combination of Jessica's film choices and the cast director's and I agree that she hasn't really gotten a role that has given her much to do other than be a pretty face. I think that more than once that by the time the finished final cut is completed that more than one of her movies has had a lot of potential on paper, but it has seemed like more than one of her projects has had a lot scenes left on the cutting room floor to put it simply. I also think that more than once she has seemed less than enthusiastic about the final cut of a project/movie that she's been in.
