If CBS had wanted Jericho to succeed they would have scheduled it after NCIS. To put a crappy, low rated reality show between them was nuts. That's Les Moonves putting his wife's show between two good shows hoping she'd get good ratings. Grrrr for nepotism and cronyism.I wouldn't be watching Jericho on TV anyway but I'll be buying both seasons on DVD. At least the fans got 1/3 of a second season and an ending. Even though I didn't watch the show I did send ten pounds of nuts to the NYC offices of CBS. I think that at least "Jericho" wasn't on Friday's and wasn't on Fox, because, I think that the only show that TPTB care about is "American Idol." I'm happy that "Jericho" fans got an ending to their show.

Cameron says he can’t live up to ‘Avatar’ hype
3rd December 2008, 10:30 WST
Director James Cameron says his upcoming big budget 3-D movie “Avatar” cannot possibly live up to the hype on the internet ahead of its release late next year.
The internet has been buzzing about the sci-fi thriller shot with motion-capture technology and the 3-D camera system Cameron helped develop with partner Vince Pace.
There are even movie trailers made by fans that apparently have nothing to do with the movie.
“Whatever they think it’s going to be, it’s probably not,” Cameron said on the sidelines of a conference on 3-D entertainment in Los Angeles.
The $US200 million ($310 million) movie is in production ahead of its planned December 18, 2009 release and Cameron does not yet have a trailer prepared.
“We are making the movie in blocks. You can’t cut a great trailer right now because so much of the movie would be unrepresented,” he said.
When asked about high expectations, the director of all-time US box office record holder “Titanic” said he had stopped trying to meet them.
“I went out and got drunk, contemplated the whole thing and got over it,” he said, adding, however, that “Avatar” was “really cool“ and “groundbreaking” for its combination of motion capture, computer graphics and live action.
“Sometimes we stop working on it and just stare at it because it’s just mesmerising,” he said.
Cameron said he had not met with Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp executives about the marketing plan, but the movie studio did not want to put out anything too early.
The studio is a unit of News Corp.

That interview would seem to contradict This one over at AICN that also shows the following image: Granted it could be completely fake, and they never did get confirmation from Cameron, so it could be either.

Valarie Rae Miller was in last nights episode of Life. She played a badass soldier just back from Iraq. The episode is up on hulu. Checked out her imdb page and it doesn't look like she is on Reaper anymore but I can't tell for sure, I gave up on that show after a couple episodes last year. From what I saw they never really fit her character in with the others.

MTV.com did an article about tv shows they wished would get a follow up movie and Dark Angel made the list. “Dark Angel” It was the cult hit that introduced the world to Jessica Alba. Thanks for that, “Dark Angel.” The show about a genetically-enhanced bike messenger fighting evil in the post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest has been unjustly slept on. Bring back creator James Cameron as the film’s director and we’ve got ourselves a hit. After he finishes “Avatar” of course. Sure, a movie would force real-life ex’s Alba and Michael Weatherly to work together again but it would be totally worth it for us fans. I’ll even go out on a limb and say that this show is Alba’s best work to date — sorry “Fanastic Four” lovers but Max Guevera could totally kick Sue Storm’s ass. I think that "Dark Angel" is Jessica Alba's best work as well, I think that she hasn't had a role since that time that has given her much to do as far as showing that she's more than a pretty face. I also think that exes can be professional if and when they need to be.

I'd really rather they left dear old Jensen out of it, its not that I don't like him so much as I don't think I could stand sitting in a theater with his prepubescent following, be worse than watching Twilight. How fast you think the sperm donor nixes that idea? Hope the sperm donor has nothing to say about the possibility of making a movie. Might be the best thing for her career. Wouldn't ya love to be a fly on the wall the first day on set when they introduce each others spouses. One of the very few moments where I'd actually want to watch a celebrities personal life. More awkward tension than a Jody Hill movie.
