Following is DAR's position regarding Jessica and Michael and their personal lives:
We believe that Jessica and Michael's relationship is their private business. If they wanted to publicize what was going on, they would do so. Instead they are clearly choosing to try to keep their personal lives private.
We respect that. Especially since this is probably a difficult time for both of them.
Publication and discussion of unsubstantiated gossip, which is what the recent People magazine blurb is, does not respect that privacy.
We reported the information on the breakup, but at this point we do not want DAR to be a forum for discussion of what is really their business and not ours.
When and if they choose to make a public statement, we will be happy to post it. But we will not post gossip articles and rumors and see DAR degenerate into speculations as to who and what and why. That serves no one well. Not Jessica and Michael, and not our members.
Jessica and Michael gave us all great pleasure in their roles on Dark Angel. We feel that respecting their private lives is only the right thing to do at this time.
This position has been stated several times in the threads regarding their breakup which are now available in the archives for reading, but not for discussion.
Hope this clarifies things for everyone.
