Of all the wacky Michael Weatherly clips I've seen, this has got to be the wackiest! Anyone see this before? Clearly from Australia, last year: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AFhIxeMJsE&feature=relatedIs that real or 'improv class' Shakespeare? Macbeth? (he mentions 'Duncan' and is pretty intense, so I figured...) ...I think my favorite part of it all it all the pawing he does of the interviewer! "this is my platypus..." ;D ;D

I particularly like how he was tweaking out like he'd snorted half a key of Columbian pure.

And still can't imagine him really doing the actor-class exercise he's riffing... ;D ("What?!?!? Exunt. ..don't make eye contact...")

I'm sure the show PR peeps think he's very good value for their money. He makes a nice change to the usual droll celebs that get rolled out to promote a show or movie.

Michael Weatherly of NCIS on CBS Q: What do you like to do with your teenager, August? A:I try to get him to do stuff he wouldn’t normally do. I tried to get him to go ice skating; that was a no-go. We go to concerts; we’ve seen The Police, Elvis Costello, Evanescence. He is an exceptionally cool dude, and I think, “Get ready, world!” He’s 2 1/2 years from getting his permit to drive. I bought a Jeep stick shift and will teach him to drive a stick. Q: When did you know you wanted to act? A:In the show we are shooting right now, one of the suspects is Joe Banks, and Tony (Weatherly’s character) perks up when he hears that name. Why do I know that name? I flirted with acting in college and watched a lot of movies. I also wanted to be a baseball player and astronaut. I had this great experience in “Joe Versus the Volcano” about a guy Joe Banks. He has this brain cloud evidently, and a fatal brain disease, and he gets hired -since he is going to die anyway -and he gets hired by an industrialist to jump into a volcano. Life is nothing if you don’t go and take a big chance. He doesn’t live until he dies. I was 21, and I watched this epic Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movie, and it spoke to me like a thunderbolt struck the theater. Q:Where did you attend college? A:I was at American University in D. C. I had to move to New York. I could have taken a lick of lollipop and somebody said, “How many licks does it take to get to the center?” That’s it! I saw meaning in everything. from www.thesudburystar.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=1568046

Found this update, still can't find anything on when it will be in theaters. Anybody know? 4TH ANNUAL MONACO CHARITY FILM FESTIVAL FILM AWARDS MAY 16TH, 2009 www.monacofilmfestival. de/1-0-Monaco-Charity-Film-Fes tival-a-pentivm-fund-charity-e vent.html The award ceremony took place during a gala dinner at the Fairmont Hotel in Monaco , the same evening. The Los Angeles based Jury screened 55 films which were officially selected out of 350 originally submitted and awarded the following movies: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BEST SCREENPLAY : CHARLIE VALENTINE ( USA ) The Best Screenplay award goes to Jesse V. Johnson for his powerful and original writing and realistic portrayal of the harsh underworld in Charlie Valentine. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CHARLIE VALENTINE Written & Directed by Jesse V. Johnson Executive Producers Edward Robin, Alan Robin, Bill J. Gottlieb, Robin Dill Produced by Ted Warren & Ray Cavaleri Starring Raymond J. Barry, Michael Weatherly, James Russo, Steven Bauer, Maxine Bahns, Keith David, Matthias Hues & Tom Berenger USA 2009 – Drama – 96’ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The film : “Charlie Valentine was a gangster, a gunfighter, a womanizer and a pretty fine chef… He was also the most dangerous, irresponsible scoundrel you ever met.” - Stylistically: This movie is my love letter to the French crime thrillers of the 1960’s and the “noir” movies of Hollywood ’s Golden age. Story-wise: Charlie Valentine rejoices in the notion that within even the very darkest heart, there exists the capacity for change.
