Well. not to be contrary (although it happens with alarming frequency) but here's still winter, almost four weeks before the spring Equinox, and we already had 32°C  ...you sure you don't want to trade? Walking knee-deep in snow half the year sounds better and better every time...  |

Very sure I want to trade, you could have lots of autumn weather here. This morning wore gloves when biking to work (hands nevertheless hurting from the cold) and so wished I had a scarf and headband here. (The gloves were still in my backpack just by lucky coincidence.)
And I stopped making tea at work, I just drink the hot water pure. (Not really a tea fan anyway)

I’m perfectly happy with it, but 25 °C in October are still odd. Pretty and sunny and odd and very unlike the usual first snow.

it's starting to feel like fall here, just a little cool in the mornings and evenings, it's a nice change

That sounds wonderful. I'll be home from my vacation toward the end of October and it will be still be nice weather. In fact, it will probably continue to be the same nice weather until December when the temperature will plunge down to the low 70s F. That's 22 C.

Poor baby - 
My vacation weather is about 85 F. (29 C.) everyday with showers in the afternoon.
The good part is - you can stay out on the beach when it rains.

Sorry...I'm having the mildest October in (my) living memory, from 8° to 16° C, when the average for Spring here is 26°...which makes me very happy, of course,

here its been raining then sun then raining and so on. driving to Hamilton today I could not see the road cause of the rain.

Well, two weeks ago it was in the low 90s (33 C) all week... last week it was in the low-mid 80s (28 C) all week, until TWO DAYS ago, when (just in time for freezing visitors) it went up only to 59/15!

ive had one good day of weather for my vacation
i didnt go anywhere exotic....i did ride my bike to the N.D vs. U.S.C. football tailgate on campus this weekend
(yes i know they lost...but i had beer)

We so need to trade climates, 26 °C is about where I start feeling warm. (We had the coldest October night in 60 years and my means of transportation to work has no weather protection at all )

Just noticed we're under a Hurricane Watch.
Peachy.
(doesn't look too likely to hit here, and not as huge as SOME we've had in these parts, , but still. And to think my visitor from across the pond managed to get out of firing range before it came!  )
Looks as if it's supposed to be a Cat 1 and make landfall around Pensacola Tuesday morning...? Anyone out there in the Panhandle, check that plywood & fill the bathtubs!
