Jessica Alba to Star in “The Killer Inside Me”
Michael Winterbottom will direct Casey Affleck and Jessica Alba in a film adaptation of The Killer Inside Me, the classic novel by Jim Thompson. The original book was told in first-person and chronicled the life of Lou Ford, a seemingly normal small-town sheriff who happens to be a paranoid-schizophrenic harboring murderous tendencies. Affleck will play the lead role, while Alba will play a prostitute that Ford gets involved with. The book was previously made into a film in 1976, directed by Burt Kennedy with Stacy Keach playing Lou Ford.
This sounds interesting, could be really good IMO. Jim Thompson wrote some pretty twisted stories, anybody looking for a film adaptation of him should check out After Dark, My Sweethttp://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098994/ very good noir thriller. I also really liked Casey Affleck in Gone Baby Gone another crime story. Michael Winterbottom seems a strange choice for a thriller though . Anyways looking forward to this one .

Casey Affleck is a good actor like his brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix.

very long clip up on youtube, it's cut like a trailer but it's almost 6 minutes long and gives away probably the whole plot, serioulsy just putting up **spoiler** doesn't begin to cover how much of the plot is given away
also not sure if it's just my pc or the clip but it is a very "jumpy" poor quality

Its not just you the videos messed up. Looks interesting in a creepy and unpleasant sort of way. Also like how they ripped the music from the Assassination of Jessie James score, good piece thought. Jessica looks very good, except for the beaten to a bloody pulp bits.
